The demolition of the 577,000 sf. building began in early August, 2007 and was completely on the ground in four months.  Prior to demolition, Marcor Remediation abated all hazardous materials on the site.  All recyclable materials were separated to limit the amount of waste to the landfill and limit disposal costs.  Our team of subcontractors included  Precision Heavy Hauling LLC, Stonetech Crushing LLC,  Delmarva Recycling, and Bradford Enterprises (Dinky Bradford) who have all done a great job on the proejct.

In June 2006, PGS was awarded Phase 2 of the PRMC $100+ million expansion project for the new Layfield tower.  This included mass excavation of 70,000 cubic yards of material.   In early 2007, PGS was awarded the contract for Phase 3 and 4 of the site and utility work.

In June 2007, PGS recontructed the tennis courts at Parkside High School in Salisbury, MD for the Wicomico County Board of Education. The project consisted of demolition of the old courts, rebuilding the subgrade gravel, asphalt surface, court surface coating and new fencing.  Our team of subcontractors for the project included  D & S Quality Paving, Worth Concrete, Action Sports and Long Fence.

This project was for the Worcester County Board of  Education at Buckingham Elementary School in Berlin, MD. The project consisted of excavating a storm water managment pond, building additional faculty parking, repairing curb, adding sidewalk and resurfacing the exsisting bus loop. Subcontractors: D & S Quality paving and Worth Concrete.
